A Polygon-based non-fungible token (NFT) collection called MKgirl led the market in daily sales on Aug. 25, with sales hitting US$1.1 million.
The collection had 421 total transactions but only had four unique sellers, CryptoSlam data shows.
MKGirl launched on Aug. 24 and has 233 active owners.
The second-ranking collection for the day was DMarket, with sales reaching nearly US$792,000 across 27,387 transactions.
This collection now has an all-time sales volume of over US$495 million, less than US$5 million from becoming the 14th collection to join the half-billion dollar club.
Mythos Chain, where DMarket resides, became the 11th network to cross the US$500 million mark over the weekend.
Ethereum-based CryptoPunks claimed the third spot with sales totaling over US$604,000 from just 7 transactions.
CryptoPunks’ all-time sales volume stands at US$2.87 billion, which is third in the industry.
Fourth, the Guild of Guardians Heroes collection on Immutable recorded US$541,450 in sales.
Pudgy Penguins, another Ethereum-based collection, took the fifth spot with sales of US$447,641.
Solana Monkey Business, on the Solana blockchain, ranked sixth with sales of US$371,874. The seventh position was held by DogeZuki Collection, also on Solana, with sales of US$324,468.
Ethereum led all blockchains in sales Sunday, with a total of US$4.06 million, a slight decrease from the previous day’s US$4.22 million.
Solana came in second among blockchains with US$2.2 million in daily sales, with Polygon trailing closely at third with US$2.18 million.
